Help Remedies lets people find out who got them sick in the first place.

The app helps users identify which one of their friends might have made them sick. The ‘Help, My Friend Gave Me The Flu’ app goes through friends’ posts, and check-ins to analyzes keywords such as “coughing,” “sneezing,” or simply “I’m sick.”

Help Remedies is an over-the-counter healthcare company that is focused on simple design and cuts back on the technical jargon used in the medical industry. The most recent app was developed to promote its ‘Help, I Have the Flu’ product.

The company has created other brilliant advertising campaigns, including ‘Help I Want to Save a Life,’ which featured a bone marrow donor kit with its ‘Help, I’ve Cut Myself’ bandages. Then there’s the interactive shop window that showed how the products can help with aches, nausea, and other discomforts.

Richard Fine, co-founder of Help, once described its brand to the New York Times as:

We want people to see that there are simple solutions. Most people shop by brand or product, and it’s difficult to know what you should be buying and taking. It is a confusing space for people who are not experts. We wanted to take what’s basic and works, and make it human.
